A investigação sobre o corp,o aliado ao interesse pela escrita têm criado a tensão fundamental ao teatro que faço, para se encontrarem onde a materialidade do corpo, da voz, das palavras, dos pensamentos operam nos seus limites. Limites esses que definem os nossos contornos políticos e culturais da mesma forma que a pele define os nossos contornos físicos. Esta investigação é para mim uma forma de continuar a interessar-me pelo teatro sem que este se torne necessariamente num objecto de consumo pelo espectador ou desemboque apenas numa combinação subjectiva de gostos e identificação de identidades. Considero-a sim uma tentativa de representação de uma possível sociedade, inventada por mim enquanto dispositivo cénico, mas que aponta para uma reflexão mais abrangente procurando a inclusão do público no próprio sistema representativo do teatro.

The research about the body, allied to my interest in writing, has created the fundamental tension on the type of theatre that I do, a place where the materiality of the body, voice, words, thoughts operate within their limits. These limits define our political and cultural contours in the same way that the skin defines our physical contours. This investigation is for me a way of continuing interested in theatre without it necessarily becoming an object of consumption by the spectator or resulting only in a subjective combination of tastes and recognition of identities. I do consider it an attempt to represent a possible society, invented by me as a scenic device, but which points to a broader reflection seeking to include the public in the theatre’s representative system.
